Clearance testing in California
Clearance is the test after removal, not the test before it. It confirms the work area before you rebuild.
When people ask
- Asbestos abatement is finished and the area needs clearance
- Lead abatement or interim controls need a clearance sample
- A contractor will not close walls until there is a report
The credential
Asbestos clearance and lead clearance are not interchangeable. The partner must hold the credential that matches the material: Cal/OSHA for asbestos, CDPH for lead.
